Together for a strong region

As the second largest employer in Torrejón de Ardoz, we take responsibility for our employees as well as for the local community. Our employees always lead by example and actively engage in social projects and environmental initiatives as part of their work.
One project close to our hearts is Medinsa Reforesta, which involves several reforestation initiatives in the Madrid area. Another important initiative for us is Medinsa Solidaria, where we regularly volunteer at Astor, a nearby association for the mentally disabled.
Team spirit and ambition are highly valued at Medinsa and are encouraged in sporting challenges such as a paddle tournament or extreme mountain climbing.

Medinsa Reforesta - Our tree planting campaign

The world is facing increasingly serious environmental problems, such as global warming or deforestation. To counter this turn of events, the Spanish site Medinsa has kicked off several reforestation campaigns. In forestry, reforestation means planting trees or sowing seeds with the aim of restoring the forest that has disappeared. Afforestation brings a lot of benefits, such as the restoration of biodiversity. Nowadays, the most significant factor in the face of the impending climate catastrophe is the ability of trees to sequester C02. A total of 80 Medinsa volunteers participated and 800 trees was planted.

Sharing time outside the office with our colleagues, with whom we spend many hours during the year, we encourage teamwork and internal communication, generating relationships of trust with our colleagues, creating a good working environment within the company and at the same time promoting a healthy lifestyle.

We are proud to be a B Corp

B Corporations are companies that are committed to social added value and environmental sustainability. In a rigorous test procedure, they have their corporate governance, employee rights and impact on the environment, society and customers measured. The goal: a "B Corp" certificate - the Michelin star for exemplary corporate behavior. And this year, Medinsa was the first manufacturing company in the generics industry to be awarded this certificate!

In the past, many other heartfelt projects have moved us far away from the workplace in the office or the production hall. We present a selection here.

Medinsa Solidaria: Some employees of Medinsa participated in the volunteering activity organized by the Astor Association. Employees from our company danced with the children and young people of the association and other colleagues helped paint the walls in the association's facilities.

Aiming high at the Medinsa Management Day: In the early hours of the morning, the Medinsa management team met at the foot of the Sierra de Madrid in the Guadarrama National Park. The task: a 12 km hike to the summit of Yelmo at an altitude of 1750 meters. The trip taught the team how extreme sports can be applied to management and, above all, how to learn from them. The courage to break new ground, success through reduction and decisiveness, teams in extreme situations, transparency and situational leadership as the key to success.
